Pianist Nando Michelin has teamed up with fellow South American musicians Fernando Huergo, Sergio Faluótico and Boston-based Jerry Bergonzi and Steve Langone for an attractive venture of original compositions coupled with South American rhythms. Michelin has an ear for a modern approach and versatility, never making a one-hour long listening session repetitious, but a rather inventive and refreshing experience. The title track refers to the Brazilian region as well as a dream about Minas Gerais.
